Our made-to-measure service offers clients our four most popular waistcoat styles in a wide array of fabrics to mix and match, as well as options for buttons, piping and having your name or initials embroidered in the neckband. We will ask you to provide your measurements, according to our detailed instructions, or you can come and be measured at our tailoring studio, from which we will cut your waistcoat. For a truly unique waistcoat, we offer a bespoke service, where every aspect of the cut and design will be created especially for you. These can include custom-making trims and buttons or designing printed or embroidered fabrics. A bespoke waistcoat will typically require two or more fittings, as well as a design consultation.

While we are always happy to welcome clients to our studio, you do not have to be in London to order your Peregrine & Jude waistcoat. In fact, we have handled orders from as far away as Australia, sending out swatch cards and providing details for sending over measurements.

Please refer to our size and measurement guides, noting which size you are closest to. If you are at all unsure then please contact us and we will be happy to help.

If you are looking to find a waistcoat in a specific colour we will do our best to find the perfect match. For orders of four or more in the same colour we can provide a more extensive range of fabrics, should you not find what you are looking for among our made-to-measure range.

Yes! We have been digitally printing designs for our bespoke reversible waistcoats for many years, either using our clients’ designs or creating designs for them from a brief. Please contact us for further information on custom-printed fabrics.

No, you are free to choose whether you would like a single-sided or reversible waistcoat and all of the fabric options remain available to you.

We do indeed. Group discounts start from three waistcoats featuring at least one fabric in common. Don’t forget to send us a photo of you all on the big day!

You may be able to subtly find their size by sneaking a peak at the label of their coat or jacket, however, if you are in any doubt then you can always give them a P&J gift card to redeem against their made-to-measure or bespoke waistcoat.
If you know the exact style and design of the waistcoat which you would like to gift, we can provide you with a boxed gift card and swatch card to present to the lucky recipient, who can then either make an appointment to be measured, or send us their measurements following our detailed instructions. As soon as we have the measurements we will get cutting!
If you would like to leave the design details up to the recipient we are equally happy to make up a gift card up to a certain value and present them with an array of fabric and style options from which to make their decision.

Our typical lead times are 6-8 weeks from confirming your fabric choices to the finished waistcoat being sent or collected. If you require your waistcoat sooner, please do contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Bespoke waistcoats featuring custom-printed or embroidered fabrics may take up to 12 weeks.

If you need a waistcoat in a shorter time-frame than displayed above, we may still be able to accommodate your order. Your options may be limited only to fabrics which are currently in stock and will not include clan tartans, which are ordered from Scotland and can take up to two weeks to arrive.

We have a number of ready-made waistcoat samples in a range of sizes which we feature on the website. These may have been used for display, or for trying on clients at the studio, but will always be in excellent condition. Defects, if any, will be clearly marked in the description. Samples are not returnable.

In exceptional circumstances where a client is unable to come to the studio, we are happy to come to your office or home for a fitting, all that we ask is that you provide a well-lit space with a mirror. This service is only available within London and is charged at an hourly rate, plus travel. Please contact us for further details.
